Where FixingNeighbor.com Begins

We are Prokhor & Sayma. We got married earlier than most people around us. We were just 18 in 2017. And once married life started, so did all the little home-related problems that come with it.

Over the years, we kept running into those everyday issues ourselves, learning through experience what works, what does not, and what people actually need when they are trying to fix something at home.

Now it has been more than 9 years, so this is not just theory for us. These are things we have personally dealt with.

How FixingNeighbor.com Turned Into Something Bigger

Because many of our friends got married after us, they would often come to us for help when similar situations showed up in their own homes. They knew there was a good chance we had already gone through it.

Without even planning it, we became the people our friends asked when something went wrong at home.

Why We Built FixingNeighbor.com

That is what gave us the idea to create FixingNeighbor.com

We realized that the same questions friends were asking us in real life were also being searched on Google by thousands of other people.

Professionally, both my wife and I are in SEO, and we run an agency called TheKeywordMan.

So we already had the skills to research search queries, understand what people need, and turn that into helpful content.

The surprising part was seeing just how many of those searches were about issues we already had firsthand experience with.

Since writing blogs is something we already do and enjoy, creating our own blog felt like a natural next step.

So we started building blog sites and publishing articles on them.

This is one of the blogs we run.
